1. Who this policy covers
This policy applies to the REMI mobile application and the official REMI website. In this policy, “REMI,” “we,” and “us” refer to the operator of the REMI app.
2. Information stored by the app
The app may store the following information locally on your device:
- document reminder names, categories, notes, and expiration dates;
- scheduled notification identifiers and delivery status;
- language, app mode, and notification preferences; and
- a device-local session used to remember that you entered the app.
The current release does not upload this information to a REMI server and does not provide cloud synchronization or backup.
3. Sign-in and accounts
The current version uses a local demo session. It does not create a remote REMI account and does not authenticate with, or receive profile data from, Google or Apple. If real account functionality is introduced, this policy will be updated before that feature is released.
4. Device permissions
REMI requests notification access so it can schedule reminders on your device. On Android, it may also request exact-alarm access and permission to restore scheduled reminders after a restart. These permissions are used only to provide the reminder features you choose to enable.
5. Website and support information
This website does not use advertising or product-analytics trackers. Like most hosted websites, its infrastructure provider may process basic request information—such as IP address, browser type, requested page, and request time—for delivery, reliability, and security.
If you contact support, we receive the information you include in your message, such as your email address, device details, and problem description. Please do not send copies of identity documents or other sensitive document contents.
6. Sharing and selling
We do not sell personal information. The current app does not send reminder data to third parties. Website and support providers may process limited information only as needed to host the website, deliver messages, keep the services secure, or comply with law.
7. Retention and deletion
App data remains on your device until you delete individual reminders or use Settings → Reset App Memory. Support messages are kept only as long as reasonably needed to answer the request, maintain service records, and meet legal obligations.

8. Security
Keeping reminder data on the device limits online exposure, but no storage method is completely secure. Protect access to your phone with an operating system passcode and keep the device software up to date.
9. Children
REMI is not designed for children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.
10. Changes and contact
We may revise this policy when the product or applicable requirements change. The updated date at the top of this page will show when the latest revision took effect. Contact details are available on the Support page.
